Vauxhall Corsa could also be called Opel Corsa; it is a super Mini car that is in production since 1982 but was also available under other brands like Chevrolet, Holden, and particularly Vauxhall. Engine & Power:

There are four different power trains available including two petrol, one diesel and one electric.

Standard 1.2:

1.2 Liter three cylinders petrol engine generates 74 Hp with 118nm@2750rpm of torque. It is a front-wheel-drive engine with emission compliance of Euro 6.2 and gives a fuel economy of 50-51 Miles per gallon combined. Corsa achieves the top speed of 105 Miles per hour with this particular engine.

Turbo 1.2:

1.2 Liter three cylinders turbo engine generates the horsepower of 98 Hp with Maximum torque of 205nm@1750rpm. It is also euro 6.2 compliance and works with a front-wheel-drive system. The top speed of Corsa with a turbo is 119 miles per hour while it takes 10.2 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour and gives the fuel economy of 50 Miles per gallon combined.

Diesel Turbo:

1.5 Liter 4 cylinder turbo Diesel engine Generates the Horsepower of 118 Hp with maximum torque of 250nm@1750rpm. It is also 6.2 Euro Compliance and works with a front-wheel-drive system. The top Speed of Corsa with turbo Diesel is 117 Miles per hour while it takes 9.6 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 Miles per hour. It gives the fuel economy more than petrol engine which is 67 miles per gallon combined.

All the above engines are paired with either 5, 6-speed manual, or 8 Speed Automatic Transmission.

All Electric:

The electric power train of Corsa works with a 50KW battery propulsion system that generates power of 134 HP and Maximum torque of 260nm, it works with a front-wheel-drive system. The top speed with an Electric Drive train is 93 Miles per hour and takes 7.6 seconds to accelerate 0-60 miles per hour.  With a 50 KW battery pack, it gives a total range of 249-269 miles on a full charge and it is paired with Automatic Electric Drive Transmission.

Driving & Performance:

It is more planted, Squat, and purposeful; as it is available with different engines this is what makes Corsa a strong contender in efficient and powerful engine mini vehicles. According to Carwow.co.uk “it steers more keenly, turns more eagerly (especially the stiffer SRI model) and puts a bigger grin on your face as a result”. Corsa’s interior does not remain enough quiet on highways during high speeds but the car remains planted in the lane.

Overall its driving experience is more like Polo but with Turbocharged it is no doubt fun to drive but comfort is not as good as it should be and you may feel bumps more often on the road.

Exterior Design & features:

As compared to the previous Model Current Vauxhall Corsa is better looking and updated as well; New Corsa has a bold grille, design and super bright  LED headlights Across the Range and optional contrasting roof color with respect to trims. 16 to 17-inch alloy wheels vary from trim to trim while higher trims have diamond-cut alloy wheels.
