Performance & Drive:

The Jeep Renegade is not a fast SUV, but it moves quickly and can take you to high speeds in a few seconds with excellent performance. The 9-speed automatic transmission is slow to shift and earns derision for its penchant. The Jeep Renegade is easy to drive and comes with a precise steering control that efficiently moves the car out of traffic and can turn around corners, keeping minimum body roll. The overall quality of the ride is good in all the variants of Jeep Renegade. The four-wheel-drive variant of the Jeep Renegade has ground clearance, and the Trailhawk variant has a ground clearance of 8.7 inches. The all-wheel-drive configuration comes with a traction control mode that lets you move through rough terrains and extreme weather conditions. The traction management system prepares to take you off-road adventures, even through water. Still, water fording should not be attempted when the water depth is more than 19 inches, and traversing water may damage your car which will not be repaired in the vehicle’s warranty. The standard driving modes Jeep Renegade offers are Snow, sand, and mud driving modes for driving in all weather conditions. The Jeep Renegade comes with a towing capacity of 2000 pounds, and it does not recommend towing with a front-wheel-drive. The fuel economy of the Jeep Renegade is good, and the front-wheel-drive Renegade gives you a mileage of 24 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highways. The all-wheel-drive Jeep renegade offers 22 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the roads. The suspension system is well-tuned, but the ride can feel stiffly sprung when moving over rough terrains, but the ride is comfortable overall. The acceleration of the Jeep Renegade is not fast compared to its competitors, but the overall quality of ride and performance is satisfactory, making your adventures thrilling.

The rear has LED taillamps that look equally stunning, and the keyless entry system opens the door automatically upon holding the door handle when the key fob is in the range of 5 feet with your Renegade. The higher-end trims come with 19-inch alloy wheels that look sporty, and the tires offer a reliable capability.
