Are you looking forward for having decent looking mid sized truck than here it is Nissan Frontier, this truck is in market since 2004 with no major changes in its design and looks but still it is among best competitors in market? This frontier 2017 is second generation truck, Nissan is working on 3rd generation that will surely change its overall design and features as well but until know this is the only option as mid sized because lot of its competitors already grown in their sizes. What this truck has and is it still a good competitor in market? we can only know after learning its details.
Design:
Mostly people prefer midsized truck over large trucks because they found midsized suitable for their work routine so does Nissan frontier has. It is a classy and strong looking truck as I mentioned earlier there has no major changes made to its exterior design which is good in some ways but bad as well.
Exterior:
Front of truck has Nissan traditional chrome grill with Nissan logo and Aero composite halogen headlamps that are not automatic and also don’t have day time led running headlights like lot of advance vehicles have now days.
There are different trims of Frontier S, SV, desert runner and SL and current one is SV King Cab. Another thing missing on its front is fog lights that are optional and you can have by spending little extra money. Moving to side profile of frontier it has give 18 inch alloy wheels but for enhancing its look you can add your own wheels that will look better with its classy design.
As It is old school truck that can be called last of its kind so there are no chrome door handlers, no key less entry or heated mirrors but you can have all these in its features package that will cost you some extra money. Only thing that matters mostly in truck is boot space because trucks usually purchased for business purposes that include transportation of things or towing, this one has 948 liter boot space which is enough according to its body as it is a middle size truck, all its competitors mostly have more boot space than this frontier.

Interior:
Thanks to Nissan its interior is quite smooth looking and still has lot of features that can entertain you on the way and still make this truck to stay in competition. This particular version has cloth seat trim while one of its trim also has leather seat trims but you can also add this as optional. No steering wheel wrapping, no shift knob wrapping done in it that shows its cheapness and define its price, you can easily see cheap plastic used in truck.
There has been added 5.8 inch color display touch screen that give you navigation and Nissan connect, as screen size is quite small and also there are many better infotainment system out there but in truck like this it is still a good option. If you can wait than you may have 3rd generation Nissan frontier that is possibly look more like Nissan Navara which actually sold overseas and many other markets.

Nissan Frontier King Cab has been loaded with 4.0 Liter DOHC V6 engine that can produce 261 horse power with 380 Nm@4000Rpm peak torque.
Base engine that usually found in frontier is not 4 liter V6 but it is 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine that produces 152 horse power. With V6 engine it gives fuel economy of 16 miles per gallon within city while 22 miles per gallon on highway and combine 17 miles per gallon.
Transmission:
Originally frontiers has 6 speed manual transmission but again this current king cab has optional 5 speed automatic transmission with OD.
Comfort:
In case of comfort there is not power and power lumbar support with seats even didn’t have heated seats. It didn’t give particularly smooth ride and you have to afford lot of bumps on roads because it is simple honest truck that didn’t hide anything from you. In terms of space front seat passengers can sit comfortably but for rear seats passenger there will be lot of issues related to leg room. There is arm rest present for front seat passenger but again not for rear seat passengers. Only one thing that I like in term of comfort is dual zone climate control that has been added.
