After watching Suzuki Ciaz 2017 one thing gets clear that with the passage of time car built quality is getting better in Pakistan. Prices are still high because of 204% custom taxes both on local and imported cars. It’s been many years there were only hatchback cars on roads by Suzuki but after such a long gap and understanding market competition Suzuki comes up with Sedan Ciaz to capture the upper class this time.
There have been added lot of new features that were not present in other Suzuki low budgets cars and competitors of the same class. The price of Ciaz is not very high not very low but if we compare it with other sedans of the same class present in the market then its price is quite feasible.
Exterior, Interior Design:
This car looks a little bulky means its structure looks a little bigger than other sedans, Shape is a little sporty this is much impressive and innovative than other sedans of the same price. On the front of Ciaz, there are given multi-projection headlamps while fog lamps are missing in manual trim. The front grill is not so big and bold as compared to the overall structure; it is composed of simple horizontal lines.
Moving to the side it has body-colored adjustable mirrors with integrated turn lights, body-color door handles and 15 inches of steel wheel with steel caps there are no rims but just silver plates to cover those.
On the rear, there are present Horizontal backlights that are quite big in appearance with rear reflectors below and height mount stop lamps. The good thing on the rear side is its trunk space that is 510 liters where you can place a lot of your luggage.
Moving inside it has a decent and handsome interior despite it being not so much luxurious and futuristic like sedans in other countries but not bad also. The fabric material is used on seats in manual trim while the automatic has leather inside. There is a plastic dashboard, plastic door trims, and no leather wrapping on the steering wheel. There is no touch display in the manual version, no navigation, and no reverse camera while automatic has a smart play touch screen with Bluetooth and has a reverse camera too.
Interior available in two colors black or cream with black where exterior has five to six options for customers.
Engine, Power & Transmission:
This Suzuki Ciaz 2017 is Loaded with a 1.4 VVT engine that has four inline cylinders, operates on gasoline, and produces 91 horsepower with 130@4000 Rpm peak torque.
It is known to be the fuel-efficient engine that gives 14 Kilometer per liter within the city while 16 Kilometer per liter on the highway. It has adjustable Rack and pinion power steering with Manual and Automatic Transmissions.
Comfort & Safety:
This is a spacious car where a lot of space is present inside that makes enough head and legroom to sit comfortably. Front and rear seats have armrests in automatic, cup holders and airbags both for driver and passenger while on the rear side there are no airbags in both versions.
One best thing is it has an anti-lock braking system that is not available in Honda city and Toyota corolla GLI. Its automatic version is far better than the manual because that have more options.
