Currently on a momentous Gulf tour, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s diplomatic itinerary includes visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the upcoming destination of the UAE. A significant highlight of this tour is President Erdoğan’s gesture of goodwill, as he presents Turkey’s first domestically produced automobile, the Togg T10X electric SUV, as a gift to both Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Continuing on his Gulf tour, President Erdoğan’s visit to Qatar further exemplified the growing economic and technological cooperation between Turkey and Qatar. Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani had the privilege of taking the wheel of a sleek black-colored Togg T10X SUV, further cementing the bond between the two nations.
The Togg T10X electric SUV, a proud achievement of Turkey’s automotive industry, offers customers a choice between a single electric motor and two battery options. Boasting an impressive driving range of either 314 or 523 kilometers, depending on the battery size, the initial version of the T10X accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated second version, slated for delivery in October, is set to outshine its predecessor with a remarkable 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.8 seconds. Equipped with a dual motor and all-wheel drive, the second version packs an impressive 320 kW power (435 hp), promising an exhilarating driving experience.
Positioning itself as a forward-thinking and technology-driven company, Togg is at the forefront of integrating digital and physical experiences in the automotive industry. Collaborating with various startups, the company aims to establish a dynamic mobility ecosystem that goes beyond the T10X SUV. Togg’s ambitious plans include manufacturing four additional models by 2030, comprising a C-segment sedan, C-hatchback, B-SUV, and B-MPV. Following the T10X SUV, the sedan will be the next model to undergo mass production.
With a vision to produce one million vehicles across these five segments by 2030, Togg showcases its dedication to making a significant impact on the automotive industry and the broader sustainable mobility landscape. Furthermore, Turkey’s aspiration to export the Togg T10X electric SUV to various European markets from 2024 onward further highlights the country’s commitment to global competitiveness and sustainability in the electric vehicle market. As President Erdoğan’s Gulf tour reinforces economic ties and technological cooperation, the Togg T10X emerges as a symbolic representation of Turkey’s rapid strides towards becoming a major player in the ever-evolving electric vehicle revolution.
