In Pakistan, MG has unveiled a new top-of-the-line version of its highly successful model, the MG HS. This fresh iteration boasts a more robust 2.0T engine along with an enhanced array of features and equipment.
Pricing and Market Competition
The ex-factory price of MG HS 2.0T in Pakistan is PKR 92.99 lac. The previously available variants are priced at PKR 71.99 lac for the HS Excite 1.5T and PKR 80.99 lac for the HS Essence 1.5T. The new MG HS 2.0T will take on the likes of Kia Sportage 2.0 AWD and Hyundai Tucson 2.0 AWD.
Enhanced Engine Performance
Under the hood, while the previously available variants were available with a 1.5T engine, the new MG HS packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that punches out 226hp of power and 360Nm of torque and comes as an AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) vehicle.
Exterior Features and Design
In terms of appearance, the MG HS 2.0T is no different than the rest of the variants. Exterior highlights include LED headlights & taillights, front & rear sequential turn signals, heated side mirrors, and a hydraulic hood. Only two exterior color choices are available, namely Pearl Black & York White.
Interior Features and Options
Inside, the interior comes in two color options— Fierry Red and Sandy Beige. Features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch infotainment system supporting Apple Car Play & Android Auto, 5 driving modes (Eco, Normal, Sport, Custom & Super Sport), sports seats, central storage with cooling function, puddle light with MG welcome logo, front heated seats, anti-trap power windows, rear AC vents, and panoramic roof.

In terms of safety, the HS 2.0T comes loaded with 6 airbags, a 360-degree surround camera with front & rear sensors, TPMS, and the MG Pilot Advanced Driver Assistance System featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Headlamp Control, Front Collision Warning, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Assist System, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
