Pak Suzuki has rolled out a dual-tone scheme for the top-spec GLX CVT variant of the 3rd-gen Suzuki Swift in Pakistan, coinciding with Maruti’s introduction of the all-new 4th generation Swift in India. Fortunately, these dual-tone options come at no additional cost.
The Swift GLX also comes rich in safety equipment. It is the first locally assembled Suzuki to have 6 airbags, plus there is ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, security alarm, seatbelt reminders, rear parking sensors & hill hold assist. The Swift GLX recently saw a massive price reduction of Rs 7.1 lac bringing its price down from Rs 54.29 lac to Rs 47.19 lac. Likewise, the dual-tone variants are also priced at Rs 47.19 lac.
The update sees Swift getting a black roof and black side mirrors. The rest of the car inside & out remains unchanged. The dual-tone is initially only available with either silver or grey as the base color.
Inside there is a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel with 4-way adjustments, a 9-inch infotainment system, automatic air-conditioning with climate control, smart key-less entry, smart trunk opener, push-button engine start/ stop as well as cruise control, etc. The Swift GLX is known as the most equipped locally assembled Suzuki model with features including auto-leveling LED projector headlamps as well as LED DRLs along with fog lamps, side mirrors with integrated turn signals and 16-inch alloy wheels.
