Maruti has officially introduced the latest iteration of the Suzuki Swift in India, with prices beginning at INR 6.49 lac (ex-showroom). This marks India as one of the leading markets to embrace the newest model, featuring a range of enhancements along with a fresh petrol engine.

The 2024 Swift comes with new front and rear bumpers, LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps, a gloss black front grille, LED fog lights, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and new LED taillights. There are 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone exterior paint options available, and it can be chosen from 5 trims: LXi, VXi, VXi(O), ZXi, and ZXi+.

Inside, you’ll find a new dashboard with a Piano Black treatment and Satin Matte Silver inserts, asymmetric dials for the instrument console, a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen system, and cruise control. Additional features include a wireless charger, wireless phone mirroring, Suzuki Connect, rear AC vents, 60:40 split rear seats, keyless entry, 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD and BA, three-point seatbelts with reminder for all seats, and a reverse parking camera.

Powering the 2024 Swift is a new 1.2L three-cylinder Z Series petrol engine generating 80hp of power and 112Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and an AMT unit. Official fuel economy figures stand at 24.8 km per liter for the manual version and up to 25.75 km per liter for the AMT.

Two custom accessory packages, Racing Roadstar and Thrill Chaser, are also available for buyers to enhance their Swift experience.
