2022 Jaguar I-pace car in the USA:
Jaguar I-pace HSE (EV 400) | Start at: 71,050 $ |
Jaguar I-Pace is the most hyped vehicle of the year 2019; recently the SUV has won World car of the year, world design of the year, and world green car of the year. Three consecutive prizes in the global ranking, the Jaguar I-Pace has knocked out every other car manufacturer by winning the most number of awards for the year 2019. Jaguar I-Pace is an electrically powered SUV that comes with a beautiful body.
The Jaguar I-Pace is one of the very first fully electric vehicles which gaze the Tesla X right in the eye. I would rather call it a bold shot by Jaguar for introducing a rival to Tesla and all the other incoming electric vehicles. What’s noteworthy here is that not only did Jaguar make the first move, it actually did fantastic engineering the I-Pace. This means is a clear example of where the world’s automotive industry is heading, efficient, green & affordable vehicles are the answer.
How Jaguar I-Pace operates?
The Jaguar I-pace is powered by two electric motors mounted underneath each axle for a four-wheel drive all the time. These electric motors are responsible for producing 394bhp and 513lb-ft torque down the wheels powered by a single-speed gearbox. The lithium-ion battery which stores the energy is placed under the floors, 90 kWh in terms of power.
Jaguar I-Pace electric motors enable it to go from 0-660 mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 124 mph (199.5 kmh).

How much time for the charging?
Since the Jaguar I-Pace is all-electric, it takes about 10 hours from 0-80% charging. The Tesla Model X also takes 10 hours for a full charge, so the difference is quite the same with some variation. The Jaguar I-Pace therefore will charge in 10 hours for 298 miles ranging from a 7kW home charger. Whereas 45 minutes if you can find a 100 kW DC supply, identical to Tesla Charging Stations.
Since the Jaguar I-Pace is completely electric, it is best suitable for urban drives on daily basis. It’s rather not an ultimate getaway SUV for a long drive or holiday vacation. Buying the Jaguar I-Pace should be subject to your lifestyle, routines, and type of work you expect from a vehicle. But in terms of styling and exterior, the Jaguar I-Pace is a clean sleek looking SUV with those 20-inches blacked-out wheels on the HSE model. Therefore it’s beautiful to look at, indeed.
What’s inside the Jaguar I-Pace?
Jaguar I-Pace like any other EV (Electric Vehicle) has everything from the future that you need in a vehicle. The EVs have set the reputation of having a futuristic interior from the front seats to the back, not the I-Pace certainly leaning towards the real conventional vehicles and EVs. It has an interior like the Tesla Model X but with touches of reality added to it. You get physical buttons and knobs like an SUV but then you also get several patches of screens spread across the dashboard. The floating central console cheers you up with Recaro seats to fit you in. Turn the I-Pace on and the screen jingles with a dancing pattern without any sound. The interior space overall is inspired and fitted to the same as the Porsche Cayenne and some footprints of Macan. The trunk at back is 656 liters including the frunk so it’s basically twice in size as of Golf Gotti. The SUV is higher than you’d expect it to be, which you’ll notice once you step your foot outside, and goes down more than you expect it to be. Other than that, the seats are comfortable with the driver seat having a commanding grip. Jaguar I-Pace 2019 can easily accommodate 4 adults in passenger seats.
