Kia’s K5 Upgrades and Pricing in South Korea

Kia has shown a new version of its K5 midsize car in South Korea. This new version comes out 5 years after the first one. People really liked the way the K5 looked when it came out in 2019, so Kia didn’t make big changes to how it looks. They made the headlights and taillights better with LED lights. The front and back bumpers look different now. The front part looks a bit like another Kia car called EV6 GT-Line, and the back of the car has a bigger ducktail spoiler. They also added new choices for the wheels and two new colors for the car – Wolf Gray and Moonscape Matte Grey.

Inside the car, they changed the screen to make it curved and use two 12.3-inch screens. They removed the physical buttons. The new system can get updates over the internet, and you can control it with your phone. You can also use your fingerprint to unlock it. You can listen to music in the car with a really good 12-speaker sound system made by KRELL. They also made some changes to the air conditioner controls, added a wireless charger, and made the gear selector smaller. You can also pick from three new colors for the inside of the car – Sand, Martian Brown, or black.

If you want the car to look darker, you can choose the “Black Fit” package. It comes with black wheels, a black suede roof, and some dark parts like the mirrors and tailpipes.

They didn’t change the engine too much. The car has different options in South Korea. You can get a regular 2.0-liter engine with 158 horsepower, a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine with 178 horsepower, a 2.0-liter engine with 144 horsepower, or a more efficient hybrid engine with 192 horsepower.

In South Korea, you can order this new K5. The price depends on which engine and features you want. It can be between $20,503 and $29,117. The 2024 K5 in the United States is based on the older version, so these updates might come to the American version in 2025.
