Zeekr’s Fast and Powerful 001 FR Electric Sports Car

Mr. Jiang had a test drive of the Zeekr 001 FR on November 1 and was impressed by its power and the ZVC torque control system. He ordered the car as soon as the price was revealed, stating that the car’s quality justified its 769,000 yuan (about $105,800 USD) cost.

The Zeekr 001 FR has dimensions of 5018/1999/1545 mm and is built on an 800V architecture with a 100-kWh ternary (NMC) Qilin battery from CATL. It has a range of 550 km CLTC. Inside, there’s a 15.4-inch screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. The Zeekr 001 FR is priced at 769,000 yuan (about $105,800 USD).

The Zeekr 001 FR is the most powerful mass-produced electric vehicle (EV) within the Geely Group. It boasts four motors and a total power output of 1,247 horsepower. Each engine is independently controlled by the ZVC system, allowing the 001 FR to perform 360-degree turns (Tank turns). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.37 seconds (2.02 seconds without the initial time).

Jiang Dashuai now owns a Zeekr 001 liftback, Zeekr X SUV, Zeekr 009 MPV, and Zeekr 001 FR, making him a dedicated fan of the Geely Group’s brand. He has rightfully become the very first owner of the 001 FR. The other 98 owners will receive their silver-colored vehicles later this month. The 001 FR also offers a gray shade option for an extra 50,000 yuan, with deliveries starting next month. Zeekr plans to produce only 99 units of the 001 FR per month.

The first Zeekr 001 FR sports car has been given to its owner, Jiang Dashuai, in Zhengzhou, Henan. This is his fourth Zeekr car, as he already has other Zeekr models. He even got to meet Formula-1 champion Kimi Raikkonen.

The 001 FR offers a unique Raikkonen mode created by Kimi Raikkonen, boosting its power output to 1,282 horsepower (1,300 ps) and adjusting other parameters to provide a driving experience similar to the Formula-1 winner.
