Engine & Performance:

The Yamaha YZF R7 gets its power from a 689cc, DOHC, twin-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that generates 72 hp of power and torque of 49 lb-ft. The DOHC CP2 engine delivers power throughout the RPM and makes the riding experience memorable. It has a 270-degree crankshaft, which generates linear torque for speedy acceleration with less vibration. It offers a six-speed transmission with a multi-plate wet clutch and changes gears firmly. The all-new Assist and Slipper clutch provides seamless downshift by reducing the clutch lever force and allows precise braking. The Quick Shift System helps smooth upshifts and makes the riding experience more exciting. The Quick Shift System pairs with the engine and adjusts the engine output to cancel out the torque of the current gear when the sensor detects movement in the gearshift lever. It has aluminium pistons that come along the direct-plated cylinders, provide excellent strength at higher RPM and high temperatures, and ensures the ride’s reliability. The Yamaha R7 comes with an inverted front fork and mono cross rear shock in the suspension system. The inverted front fork offers optimized spring rates that help in an excellent front-end feel when curving the bike around corners. The mono cross rear shocks reduce the bike’s weight and centralize mass. It creates an ideal balance between comfort and performance because of its adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. The Yamaha YZF R7 comes with radial brakes that have radial front brake callipers and offer optimized braking pressure and give excellent controllability. The slimmest proportions of the Yamaha R7 assist in confident control of the bike and reduce wind resistance for better handling. The new bodywork helps to improve the airflow around the motorcycle and incorporates the rider comfortably on the bike. The bike’s lightweight frame helps in optimized balance and firm handling of the bike.

The lower stance is sporty, and the bike’s ergonomics are specifically for a race bike. The handlebars are positioned higher, so the rider rides the bike comfortably with less or no fatigue. The Yamaha R7’s build quality is excellent, and it makes a balance between power and approachability. It offers durability and prevents the bike from rust damage. It has a high-strength steel frame that offers nimble responsiveness, durability, and optimized balance. The bike’s refined ergonomics have a low fuel tank design that allows the rider to sit comfortably. The aggressive design of the Yamaha R7 provides optimal handling and agility. It has adaptive Bi-Functional LED headlights and LED turn signals on the front and rear to give illumination and visibility. An LCD instrument panel in front of the rider informs about gear position, fuel economy, and fuel capacity, along with time and water temperature.
