The Hyundai Staria was launched in March 2021 globally as a successor to the Hyundai Starex. It is a five-door minivan with options for front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive. It is available in South Korea, Australia, the Middle East, some European, and some South Asian countries as well. It’s time to launch it in the Pakistani automobile markets. The news of the launch gets confirmed when people spotted it at the Hyundai showroom in Emporium Mall, Lahore. The CBU units of Hyundai Staria were already brought here to test it in local conditions. The Hyundai Nishat can be looking forward to launching Hyundai Staria in the local market, and everyone is curious about it after its display at Emporium Mall. It must be reminded that Hyundai had already introduced their MPV Grand Starex in Pakistan, but it did not work well there and could not get many sales. The competition for MPVs is less in Pakistan because very few options are available for the customers, keeping in mind the rising trend of SUVs in our country. It is expected that more options for MPVs will also increase the sensation of MPVs. The Hyundai Staria is expected to be better than Grand Starex, and it will be utilized both for family use and commercial purposes. It is a futuristic vehicle that is spacious and luxurious at the same time and changes your everyday trips into memorable journeys. It comes in two engine choices, and the fuel consumption varies depending on the engine type. It comes with modern features and better specifications than Grand Starex, and we expect it to perform better than the Starex. The Hyundai Staria is in the testing phase in Pakistan, and there is no exact information about the launch of Staria yet. Still, we expect it to be launched by December 2022 or at the beginning of 2023.
