The executive car BMW 5 Series was first introduced in 1972 and became the best-selling model by BMW after the BMW 3 Series. The seventh generation of BMW 5 Series was brought to the global markets in 2017 and is available in a 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, and 4-door long-wheelbase saloon options. It is also imported to Pakistan and features among the highest-selling luxury sedan. The 2021 BMW 5 Series is 137 pounds lighter than the previous model, and the use of high-strength steel and aluminum makes it lighter and makes it safer. The 2022 BMW 5 Series is rated number two among all other luxury midsize cars in the United States of America. The 530i and 530e are similar in features but differ in their power train, as the 530e is the plug-in hybrid variant of the 530i. The trims offer 18-inch wheels, a 12.3-inches infotainment screen, leather upholstery, lane departure warning, and blind-Spot Monitoring. The 540i provides advanced parking assistance features and driving assistance, including adaptive cruise control and Lane Keeping System. The plug-in hybrid version 530e generates 288 hp of power and 310 lb-ft of torque. The 540i trim gets its power from 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder engine that produces 335 hp of power and 331 lb-ft of torque. The M550i has 4.4 liter V8 turbocharged engine that produces 523 hp of power and 533 lb-ft of torque. The new M5 CS trim is run by a V8 engine that produces 627 hp of power.
