Sazgar has brought something new to the table in Pakistan with the introduction of the Haval Jolion HEV (hybrid electric vehicle), expanding its product range. Previously, the Jolion was only available in a non-hybrid variant.

The locally assembled Jolion HEV comes with a price tag of PKR 92.95 lac, which is Rs 12.6 lac more than the previously available 1.5T variant priced at PKR 80.28 lac. Pre-bookings for the Jolion HEV have begun in Pakistan, requiring a partial payment of PKR 18.0 lac, with deliveries expected within 3 months.

Underneath the hood, you’ll find a 1.5L engine paired with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and Front-Wheel Drive (FWD). This setup generates 190 hp and 375Nm of torque, working together with a 115 kW (154 hp) BorgWarner permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 1.6 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The exterior boasts LED electrically height-adjustable headlamps, LED DRLs, automatic wipers, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, electrically adjustable rearview mirror, and more.

Inside, you’ll find a multi-function steering wheel, 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with CarPlay & Android Auto, wireless charger, leather seats, power-adjustable driver and front passenger seats, push-button start/stop, dual-zone AC, and more.

For safety, the Jolion HEV is equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD & BA, ECS, TCS, Hill Start Assist & Hill Descent Control, 360-view parking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and more.

Sazgar already sells the locally assembled Haval Jolion, Haval H6, and H6 hybrid in Pakistan. The new Jolion HEV will face competition from models like the Toyota Corolla Cross, which falls within a similar price range.
