Zeekr X Facelift (2026) Unveiled – Refined Interior, More Range, Same Attitude
Zeekr’s popular compact electric SUV, the Zeekr X, is getting a major refresh for the 2026 model year — and spy shots out of China have revealed what’s coming. The updated model, expected to debut later this year, will feature a redesigned interior layout and an all-new Energee battery option, giving the stylish EV more range and modern appeal.
Updated Interior with Premium Touches
Recent images published by CarNewsChina show that Zeekr has focused heavily on the cabin experience. The once “floating” center console has been replaced with a cleaner, closed design that feels more traditional and functional. A wireless charging pad now sits neatly within reach, complemented by additional storage compartments for daily convenience.
The door trims and seats showcase new diamond-pattern stitching, adding an upscale touch, while the rear cabin gains its own air vents for improved passenger comfort — a small but significant upgrade. The overall impression is that Zeekr aims to bring a more premium and family-friendly feel to its smallest model.

Subtle Exterior Tweaks, Familiar Dimensions
From the outside, the 2026 Zeekr X looks largely familiar, retaining its compact proportions — around 4,450 mm long, 1,836 mm wide, and 1,572 mm tall, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. This means the SUV will continue to be an agile urban commuter with just enough size for small families or city drivers.
Energee Battery Promises Better Range
The big news under the floor is the introduction of Zeekr’s new Energee battery pack. While details are still under wraps, insiders suggest that it will extend driving range beyond the current 512–560 km offered by the 66 kWh version. The technology could also bring faster charging times and better thermal efficiency, aligning with Zeekr’s broader push to improve sustainability and performance.
Currently, the Zeekr X is available with single- and dual-motor setups, producing 200 kW (268 hp) and 315 kW (422 hp) respectively. The existing battery choices — 49 kWh and 66 kWh — already give the compact SUV impressive range options from 420 km to 560 km (CLTC). The new Energee variant is expected to push those numbers even higher.
Zeekr’s Growing Global Footprint
Zeekr, a premium EV brand under Geely Holding Group, has been rapidly expanding its global lineup with models like the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009. The refreshed Zeekr X will strengthen its position in the premium compact EV market, particularly as it eyes new markets in Europe and Southeast Asia.
With improved comfort, a more practical interior, and the addition of Energee battery tech, the 2026 Zeekr X looks poised to become one of the most compelling options in its class — blending style, smart engineering, and next-gen battery performance.
