Hyundai has added an update to the eighth generation of Sonata, and it went on sale in August 2020. The 2020 model of Sonata is upgraded with nineteen inches alloy wheels, a six-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and a safe exit warning alarm now available in Limited trim. Engines Available for Pakistan:
- The vehicle introduced in Pakistan is equipped with two engines; a 2.5-liter MPI engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that generates the horsepower of 176@6000rpm with 232NM@4000rpm of torque.
- The 2.0 Liter Naturally Aspirated Engine produces 152 horsepower and 192 nm of torque.
Engine & Power Globally:
SE, SEL, and N-line trims are powered by 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline engines producing 191 hp engine power at 6100 RPM and torque of 181 pounds-feet at 4000 RPM. The SEL Plus and the Limited trims are powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-inline cylinder engine producing maximum power of 180 hp at 5500 RPM and torque of 195 pounds-feet at 1500 to 4500 RPM. The front-wheel driving feature and transmission options are the same for all the available trims. Among all trims, SEL plus is preferred the most because of its affordable price and a turbocharged engine capable of producing 180 hp power, and it comes with lots of the latest features. The all-new Sonata going to be introduced in Pakistan will be available in the only single-engine option of 2.5 liters displacement.
