The DFSK came to Pakistan in 2017 with a joint venture with Regal Automobiles and introduced SUVs, vans, and mini trucks. The DFSK Humsafar is one of the best minivans in Pakistan, and it has been giving tough rivalry to our evergreen Suzuki Bolan since its launch in 2018. The DFSK Humsafar is also known as DFSK K07S and Prince K07S. The Humsafar and Changan Karvaan are similar in features and performance with only minor changes. We will discuss the DFSK Humsafar updated model in detail today. The social media page of Prince automobiles posted the good news about the DFSK Humsafar with many new features and lesser prices. The updated Humsafar is available at this special reduced price and improved features for a limited period. The DFSK Humsafar has a competitive price, compared to Suzuki Bolan, which is available at higher price tags, so it attracts customers. The DFSK Humsafar has a similar powertrain, as compared to previous models but it comes with new features. It offers power steering and improved safety features like a dual collision absorption area, rear camera, and seat belts for all passengers. The rear camera is not available in Changan Karvaan, and DFSK Humsafar has a better infotainment system than Karvaan, which makes it a better option if you are looking for a minivan with better safety and entertainment. The DFSK Humsafar is worth buying with a list of features like:
- Hydraulic clutch.
- Semi-independent suspension at the rear.
- Rear drum brakes.
- Front disk brakes.
- Five-speed manual transmission.
The spare parts of DFSK Humsafar are also available easily in the markets, and the resale value is not bad either, as it is one of the budget-friendly vans with dealership networks throughout the country.
Engine, Power & Transmission:
The DFSK Humsafar gets its power from a 997cc, inline four-cylinder, DOHC, water-cooled engine with eight valves and generates 52 hp power at 5300 RPM and 78 Nm torque at 3500 RPM. It has an electronic fuel injection fuel system and Euro IV emission standards. It offers a five-speed manual transmission with a front-wheel drive. It has Macpherson strut independent suspension at the front, and the braking system comes with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
Trims & Variants:
The DFSK Humsafar is available in only one variant with a 997 cc engine and manual transmission. It is not available in automatic transmission yet. The economical price of DFSK Humsafar satisfies the customer with manual transmission only, but we hope to see an automatic variant of DFSK Humsafar in the future too.
Performance & Drive:
The DFSK Humsafar comes with a powerful engine that generates 52 hp power. The five-speed manual transmission is smooth and makes drive comfortable for the drivers, while the electric power steering gives drivers confidence in handling the van smoothly. The ride quality is not bad, and the car turns smoothly over curves and twists. The Macpherson Strut independent suspension offers impressive suspension and delivers a smooth ride, and the leaf springs with shock absorbers make the ride quality smoother over bumps and breakers. It offers a front-wheel-drive system. The braking system of DFSK Humsafar is efficient and applies brakes smoothly by keeping the quality of the ride smooth. The DFSK Humsafar achieves a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour. One of the drawbacks of Humsafar is average road grip which can be risky when a heavy load is loaded in the car and can make the driver uncomfortable. The rear camera helps to see the back view of the road so that parking is done safely and conveniently. It offers economical fuel efficiency and gets around 10 kilometers per liter in the city and 12 kilometers per liter on the highways with a fuel tank capacity of forty liters. The DFSK Humsafar offers seat belts for all passengers, which is not available in Suzuki Bolan, and it ensures the passengers’ safety. The DFSK Humsafar takes 12-14 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 kilometers per hour. The fourteen-inch standard tires in DFSK Humsafar offer long-lasting performance, but as mentioned earlier, the road grip is compromised sometimes.
Exterior Designs & Features:
The DFSK Humsafar is an elegant minivan with an overall length of 4065 millimeters, a width of 1560 millimeters, and a height of 1925 millimeters with a wheelbase of 175 millimeters. The rear has vertical LED tail lamps that swept sideways, and the trunk door opens easily for entry and exit. The side mirrors are wide and give a broad view of the road for convenient driving. The body-colored side mirror and door handles look elegant. It is available in four different exterior color options that include: white, grey, silver, and black. It offers alloy rim wheels, and the standard wheel size is fourteen inches.
Interior Design & Features:
The DFSK Humsafar offers improved and new features in the cabin. It comes with improved and more comfortable seats with seat belts. The driver seat has manual adjustments and is comfortable, so the driver does not feel fatigued after long drives. It offers a seating capacity of six passengers. The cabin has a black and grey color scheme that looks attractive and offers features like power windows, dual air conditioner, cup holders, and three layers glove box. The power windows are not available in Changan Karvaan. There is an analog-digital cluster meter that looks elegant and gives a clear sight of the speed and fuel consumption. There is a 9-inch screen mounted on the dashboard, that gives infotainment and offers a navigation system. The dual air conditioner makes the ride comfortable by making the temperature inside the cabin comfortable in hot weather. The DFSK Humsafar’s cabin is comfortable yet entertaining to make your journeys memorable.

It comes with a dual collision absorption area which makes it better than Changan Karvaan. It offers a rear camera and grip handles for passengers.
Pros & Cons:
The DFSK Humsafar is an updated model that offers better features like a rear camera, an improved infotainment system, 14-inch alloy wheels, and better safety features. It has an efficient fuel economy and gives average mileage. The cabin is attractive and spacious, while the exterior design looks eye-catching. The resale value is good, and the maintenance cost is not much high.
It is not available in an automatic transmission configuration. The DFSK Humsafar’s built quality is not as good as its rivals. The road grip of DFSK Humsafar is average, which makes it dangerous when traveling with heavy loads.
